The majority of our clients are on three to four social media platforms. We’ve made absolute sure that Google My Business is one of them for the vast majority.

For those unfamiliar with Google My Business, it has essentially become Google’s de facto social media platform. Back on April 2nd (our company’s anniversary) Google officially shuttered Google+, what was once their “answer” to Facebook.

At this point, most are aware of how widely unsuccessful Google+ was. On the flip side, a few bad reviews there can send your business to a nightmarish hellscape in the form of not being included in the 4.5 stars and higher filter.

Let’s face it: most businesses can be viewed as commodities in 2019, even if they really aren’t. Unbelievably, most businesses completely ignore this platform, instead focusing on the mainstream Facebook and Instagram. Dedicating time, energy, and yes, money elsewhere isn’t bad in itself.
